At Double Up Sisters we organize, refer, and oversee home co-ownership and shared rentals and property care and maintenance for shared households. Based in Haight Ashbury, San Francisco USA . We specialized in safe affordable housing in nice neighborhoods for single working women.
We miss our girlfriends who have had to moved away due to high housing costs and intangible rentals. On top of that seeing homeless women on the street were we live and feeling a very strong need to help. Other women are stuck in bad marriages or living situations and their lives on hold or worse because they cannot afford to move.
With the help of women who have been in different situations and experts in San Francisco residential housing we have created a program of home co-ownership within legal code.
By using professional micro design and modern technology we can provide more people more practical living space and privacy in urban structures.
We can prevent good women leaving or being stuck in bad situations and bring skilled women and more women students back to San Francisco with quality well cared for homes that they cannot be evicted from.
Unlike student housing coops where you spend a lot of time on chores and working bees, Double Up Sisters takes care of most house maintenance and weekly maid service, grounds keeping, accounting and administration.
